Leo introduces AudioSticker, it is admittedly a pretty hacky project (a complex process to get a seamless playback of audio on flickr) that could have been handled in other ways. Still, when you get a picture that has a nice collection of audio notes the experience is remarkably fun and exciting (there is a great one here). You can make your own (through upload only) at the AudioSticker mini site. Doesn’t work that well in safari, which is really sad for me.
It’s clear it would be worthwhile to explore more use of audio commentary on sites like flickr. Sometimes things are just too textual.
