We’ve been running the experiment for a little while now (a little over two weeks) and as always, we’ve gotten a ton of data. More interesting then that though are the kinds of sites that have started using the theme. Not only do we see a nice sampling of interesting meaningful sites with good content, we’ve also been able to see quite a variety of nice visual modifications. Some of these are simple (changing the header) some of them are also simple (changing the link colors). What’s remarkable is how good most of them look. It isn’t easy to design something that looks nice when it has been customized but it looks like (thanks to all of the data, comments, and crit) we’re on the right track. Here is a slight sampling of the community we’re creating through shared design.
As a corollary to this we’ll be featuring sites from the pool on creativesynthesis on a regular basis. Here goes:
