A wonderful visual representation of, well, visualization methods. From visual-literacy.org , a table of the elements is slightly misleading. More accurate words would be techniques, methods, or even maybe visual languages or mindsets. Regardless, rolling over the visualization elements brings up a particular example of the technique in question. This tool has obvious utility for interaction designers and database crunchers thinking about how to successfully get data into a representation that makes sense.
